The first vessel was delivered in 1977 and those vessels remaining in service are operated by a number of operators around the world, and as a group they are considered to be one of the most successful classes of RoRo vessels ever built. Stena RoRo is one of the leading innovators of the roll on/roll off cargo and passenger concepts. We offer RoRo and RoPax vessels with belonging administration. Our company Over decades Stena RoRo has, from time to time, chartered out tonnage to DFDS and formed a good working collaboration. Stena RoRo has also been instrumental in selling ships to DFDS. Within the year 2021 Stena will deliver a RoPax newbuild to DFDS which will be a long term charter. Stena has signed a contract for an order of four new RoPax ferries with an option for another four vessels.
